First off I realize that I had quite an absence on here BUT I saw a movie last night that I feel like I must talk about… THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE So for those of you who have NOT heard of this let me just inform you what you are missing out on. The story is brillant, a mad surgeon (who is the worlds #1 simease surgeon) decides to somewhat “reverse the surgery” insread of seperating them, he rather would like to combine them-forming A Human Centipede. He cuts takes out the joints in your knees (so you cant walk) forcing this 3-person centipede to basically crawl everywhere. He begins to treat them like dogs. That is a basic idea of the story. Captivating right? I like to consisder this the “new midnight movie”, like THE ROOM, but with far more twisted features. It consists of terrible-porn like-acting, but with gorgeous visuals (which is weird to say when that gorgeous visual is a three person centipede is crawling everywhere). So it does not look cheap whatsoever, its mainly the acting that is awesomley bad along with the ridiculous dialouge making this film seem like a new-far more twisted EVIL DEAD- where corny lines actually work. Basically this gonna be a CULT CLASSIC. Note it is not as violent as one may expect when hearing NOT RATED but its the sounds you hear, and the whole idea of a Human Centipede is pretty fucked up. (had to add that in by the way). SO yeah…for those who are not easily grossed out I highly recommend this because then you can say you have seen the most fucked up movie off ALL TIME. (Let me know if you are going to see it or have seen it cause I would love to talk about this film more with you guys who are interested)

Review: 5/10

Pros: Twisted. A goofy and silly horror comedy about killer sheep. You can’t take this film seriously in any context. The cinematography is beautiful and the “creatures” and effects are done amazingly well by Peter Jackson’s WETA team. High production values contrasting with its ridiculousness gives off a fun and funny experience to watch.

Cons: The dialogue and acting are absolutely horrendous. Character development is poor. Could do without the farting jokes, but I guess that builds up for the ending. Can’t say much else given how it is suppose to be cheesy.

when did this come out? i’ve never heard of it but seems like it will be good

It never did, except in one theatre (Egyptian) for one show time in order to qualify for the Oscar nomination. It does come out in more theatres (not sure if it’s limited or wide) on March 19th.

ahh i see. i still need to see Precious and An Education and then i have seen all of the Best Picture nominations.

but if i see this then i have seen all the best animated feature nominations!
