My Review for AVATAR
Well…i finally saw what all the buzz was about and lets just say, I wasnt extremly impressed. I mean i liked it, it was good but not epic or amazing. I dont know, the story just didnt do it for me, the characters were at least done well, nice devolpment, but it wasnt as good as everyone told me it was. I mean in 3D it was amazing and beautiful, but if you look past all that pretty CGI it is the story of a little movie i like to call Dances with Wolves. Ha…i didnt really notice it until the guy next to mentioned it and i then realized, WOAH! Dances with Wolves but with blue people. Another aspect i didnt really “dig” was the dialouge, it was kinda funny at some points, reminding me of the cheesy and horrible dialouge of The Happening. But overall…not the best film of the year (not even in the top 10 in my book) but it defintley aint the worst and will actually please all those people who hated Transformers 2 (hmmm…me?). It defintley does not deserve best picture and not even a nomination (come one people…why leave out Star Trek or District 9?) bad move on those people of you ask me.So see it, but in 3D cause that seems like the only way to see it!
